NIA supports Pongpetch research on organic intercropping of feed crops
A THB 1.3 million innovation project with Kasetsart University's National Corn and Sorghum Research Center at Suwan Farm.

Pongpetch Corporation has begun an innovation project to develop an organic intercropping system for animal feed crops, supported by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) under its "Technology to Capital" programme.
The THB 1.3 million project, which runs from 19 June 2015 to 18 December 2016, grows high-yielding, disease and pest resistant varieties of feed maize, soybean and cassava together in the same field, to give more total yield from the same land and a steadier income for farmers.
The project has the academic support of the National Corn and Sorghum Research Center, Suwan Farm, of the Inseechandrastitya Institute for Crops Research and Development at Kasetsart University.
