Farmers planting rice together

Sustainability

Sustainable growth for everyone.

If all six do not benefit, we will not do it. Growth that is shared, and organic that can be proven.

Our promise

Growth only counts when it is shared. Every decision has to work for six at once.

Who must gain

Six who must benefit.

Each one has to gain. If one of them loses, we do not do it.

  1. Green rice fields under a clear sky

    The country

An organic industry of its own, certified to the standards the world buys by.

  2. Children joining hands in a circle

    Society

Honest food, and farms that stay independent.

  3. A forest seen from above

    The environment

Certified organic land, no prohibited inputs, checked every year.

  4. Farmers harvesting golden rice by hand

    Our partners

A market, prices announced ahead, and their own names on their own products.

  5. A shopper choosing fresh radishes in a grocery store

    Our customers

Food and feed with a lot number that answers every question.

  6. Three colleagues reading a notebook together

    Our people

A lean team that sets the rules and keeps the decisions.

In practice

Four habits, every day.

  • 01

Organic only where it says organic

Certified to the EU and USDA organic standards, checked by an independent certifier every year.

  • 02

    Records kept

Every purchase, delivery and lot is recorded, and organic records are kept for at least five years.

  • 03

    Just in time

We hold no stock. Raw materials move from certified growers to customers to order, which cuts storage and waste.

  • 04

    Farmers first

We help farms convert, share seed, feed and knowledge, and encourage them to sell under their own names.

Certifications

Checked every year, by an independent certifier.

A certificate does not make food good. It makes honesty provable. Our operations are inspected and certified every year by CERES.

  • EU Organic logo

    EU Organic

    Standard
    Regulation (EU) 2018/848
    Certifier
    CERES, TH-BIO-140

Both certificates cover every partner in the chain for what we buy, make and sell as organic.

Internal control

Checked by us, before the certifier checks us.

An organic certificate is checked once a year. Our own checks run at every purchase, every arrival and every batch, and the AI watches the records every day.

  1. 01

    At purchase

Every purchase names a certified supplier whose certificate is on file with its expiry date. A lapsed certificate cannot be bought from as organic.

  2. 02

    At arrival

Every lot gets its number and is checked against the delivery, the weight ticket and the certificate before it is accepted.

  3. 03

    At making

Feed is mixed to a formula on record, by a certified partner mill, and the lots that went in are kept with the lot that came out.

  4. 04

    Once a year

Before the certifier's inspection, we check every partner on tier 2 or above ourselves: records, inputs, certificates.

  5. 05

    Every day

The AI watches expiry dates, missing records and unmatched documents, and raises each one as a card for a person to act on.

Traceability

Where did this come from? We can answer.

  1. Purchase

From a certified grower, checked against its certificate.

  2. Lot

    A number assigned on arrival.

  3. Making

Lots in, lot out, on record.

  4. Delivery

The lot number on the delivery note and the certificate.

  5. Pack

On whole.organic, the number opens the page.

Farmers first

Their independence is our success.

We help farms convert to organic, then encourage them to sell under their own names. Records kept for at least five years, ready for customers and certifiers.
